1. Overview
At Purevia Wellness & Beauty, we strive to provide high-quality wellness, beauty, and electronic products. This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa) and outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.
2. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)
In line with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA):
- You may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the product without providing a reason.
- The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in a resellable condition.
- You will be responsible for return shipping costs.
- A refund will be processed within 15 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
3. Defective or Faulty Products (CPA Rights)
Under the Consumer Protection Act:
- If a product is defective, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund within 6 months of purchase.
- Purevia reserves the right to inspect the product before approving the claim.
- If the product is found to be defective:
- We will cover return shipping costs.
- You may choose between:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Full refund
4. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Opened or used beauty or personal care products
- Intimate or hygiene-related products
- Items marked as final sale
- Gift cards
5. Change of Mind Returns (After 7 Days)
- Returns requested after the 7-day cooling-off period are not guaranteed and may be approved at our discretion.
- If approved:
- A store credit or exchange may be offered instead of a refund.
- A restocking fee (up to 15%) may apply.
6. Condition of Returns
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be:
- Unused and undamaged
- In original packaging with all accessories
- Purevia reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
7. Refund Process
- Refunds are processed using the original payment method where possible.
- Processing time:
- 5–15 business days after approval
- Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
8. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund.
- Once shipped, the return process must be followed.
9. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos and order details
- We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you
